So I’m deep in the throes of newborn life, which means that all the sweetness I’ll be baking up this season is cute baby snuggles. But just because I’m not baking doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Here are some Christmas treat ideas from yours truly and from all around my specially curated corner of the web:
Dried Cherry & Pistachio Mexican Wedding Cakes: This recipe of mine is a hit every year. These grain free cookies are melt-in-your-mouth and no one in your life will ever know they are gluten free.

Espresso Chocolate Chunk Cookies: These cookies have everything…literally. Whatever flavour you like, it’s in here: chocolate, coffee, nuts, dried cherries. These soft, rich cookies are the epitome of the adult cookie, perfect with a strongly brewed espresso or a mug of rum and eggnog.

Currant Studded Gingersnaps: These are cute little balls of ginger goodness rolled in sugar. They are made with cassava flour and have loads of deee-licious butter.

Other Holiday Treat Recipes To Check Out: These are recipes I would love to try out but just won’t get a chance. So you should! Try them out, bring them to all your parties and then tell me which ones were the best in the comments…Happy Baking!
Chocolate Caramel Crunch Almonds: By one of my faves, Deb of Smitten Kitchen (who I actually met recently!! See photo here), these candies look playful and fun and they come together super easily.
Dairy Free Peppermint Hot Chocolate: I’ve been making this recipe for years, it’s my favourite version of peppermint hot chocolate. It contains no bad stuff but is still decadent and delicious.
German Pfeffernusse Cookies: As you can see, I love me a boldy spiced cookie. These German cookies remind me of my favourite pre-paleo Christmas bread, stollen. These cookies are gluten free and made with almond flour but they seem just as bold as their original.
